Default Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong...

So I finished completly rebuilding my D15B2 out of my 91 crx about a month ago and everything went great. I haven't been able to drive it much because of a registration nightmare. I finally got my temp tags and was going to put some good miles on it today. It was about 40 degrees today with about a foot of snow on the ground and the rex got stuck. As I was digging it out my idle started to drop and then it stalled. Then I started it back up again and it would start and then stall right away. So then I started it, gave it some gas and the tac needle jumped aroung like a ninja on crack and then stalled. I thought at first vacum leak, but found none. Then thought maybe coolants low, it's fine.
Thought that maybe the throttle cable came loose, it's fine. Messed with the idle air screw, that keept it from stalling but it idled just above zero. I drove it around the block like that and whenever I reached above 2500 rpms the tac needle would go crazy and I would have no engine power. I got it back in my garage, messed with the idle some more and then all of a sudden it's fixed, idling smooth and no tac bounce, I let it warm up to operating temp and then was about to go for a ride when I see that the temp gauge is all the way hot! I turn it off, let it cool then it goes back to it's old ways. I am completley stumped, I even checked the IACV filter ,which is brand new, and it's good too. Practically everything on this engine is new, I also have a new battery. Could it possibly be bad injectors? Please, please help, I'm in the middle of moving and I have to be out by tomorrow and the drive is an hour away. Thanks guys and sorry this is so dam long.

i know you did not mention much about the Wiring. But did you check the harness ground? There is one that bolts up to the thermostat housing (or close to it).

So I went to check the grounds and discovered that the one on the thermostat housing was indeed loose. So I tightened that up and moved on to the alt ground where i accidently touched the body while the wrench was on the bolt (whoops!) and that kids is why you always disconect the negative battery terminal whilst working on your car. Almost electrocuted my self and ended up blowing the 60A fuse in the bay, the one with the copper tabs that screw down. So now I have no power lol. I'll have to get a new fuse and check in the morning if the thermo ground did the trick. Beans and Rice if that fixes my problem I'm gonna give you a super fatastic internet high five! :-)
