Well guys I am new to the site. I just picked up a AEBS sleeved Type R block for my Integra build. The bore is at 84mm right now. It has some pretty deep scoring in one cylinder. I dropped it off at the machine shop and they are going to see if it will clear at 84.5mm. My question is, if worst case it has to go to 85mm would it still be ok to boost? I really wanna use this block as I paid hardly anything for it. Thanks for any help.

 

85mm is perfectly fine for boosting. My friend and I are boosting with 85mm, and I'm more than sure there are many others doing the same
