So I picked up a 93 Ej1 with a Z6 in it, the car was running fine with no cels for about a hour. The cel light popped on then the rpm dropped from idle speed and the car wants to shut off but I have to keep giving it gas, I drove the car and it wouldn't pass 3500 rpm so I switched the ecu with another p28 and it does the same thing, so if anyone knows what this can be just let me know, thanks.

I also forgot to tell everyone my battery died but, I was going to check the code I wanted to find out if anymoe had this problem be.

 

usually the problem is a bad ecu, but can be the distributor, my friend had a similar problem his car would not go over 5 mph, which end up being the distributor and timing....

 

I'm going to grab my other dizzy tomorrow and I hope its just that.

 

I was able to check the cel code and it was my injectors. The clip on one of the injectors is cracked so I was wondering if that's the problem or is it just a bad injector?
