I'm throwing a dyno day/bbq on Saturday Feb. 6th 2010 at Motiva in Albuquerque, NM. We had 200+ cars show up last year and 40 hit the rollers.

 

awesome, we'll probably be attending. Are you interested in becoming a part of our potential squad perhaps?

 

too bad cruces is a little far from abq...

 

Not too far...it'd probably be worth it to come up for meets once a month. I would drive the four hours to do so at least. Think about it.

 

I'd like to check it out. I have done the car club thing in the past but its not really my thing. I tune a ton of honda's here so if you ever have questions or need some work done hit me up. 575-621-8205

Yeah, we haven't organized anything yet really, we're just kind of rounding up some folks at the moment. Honestly, this isn't even about having a car club, or street racing or anything, it's just trying to meet more people who share this interest that would be willing to kick it. I mean, we know almost NOBODY who is into it in albuquerque except for each other, lol.

 

Maybe i would be able to work something out, it gets hella boring here also so it would be different to go up there.
Im pretty sure im going to the dyno day & bbq at motiva, sounds fun.

 

Hey guys, we're organizing a meet this Saturday, the 16th at the Dion's parking lot on Paseo del Norte & Wyoming at 2pm. We'll meet there, then drive to a close location for photo's. So if you like, wash your cars. Then we'll come back to Dion's for some grub. If you have friends with Honda's then please invite them to bring their cars as well. If you need directions or more details, please contact us. We hope to see you for ABQ Honda Squad's first meet!

ABQ Honda Squad, sounds cool. What kind of cars you guys got? Don't know if I'll be able to make it this weekend, maybe the next one.

 

I drive an '89 Si, and Kyoh drives a GSR swapped '93 coupe. We're not sure who's comin to the meets yet. We've invited some dope cars though.

 

I'm going to try and make it. I have to work on 3 cars this weekend though. Well see how it goes. lol.

Cool meet guys. I enjoyed meeting some cool like minded folks who are just into Hondas. There were some ill cars there, too. Good to meet everyone too. Looking forward to the next one.

Also, on the way home I stopped at Trader Joe's and met the guy (that y'all may have seen around town) with the (almost) full carbon S2000. I told him about the meet and got his card, so I'll let him know when we get together again.
