ME and my brother will be down there in summer to hopefully meet up with you guys. Is there streetracing or money runs going on over there. Last semester I was down in my 2003 Cobra so only got to meet the domestic guys. Out by the sonic near Comanchee I think.

they street race out here money runs im sure they do i dont go looking for street races not my thing but if im drivin and some one steps up ill play with em.if your coming from cali with the rex and h22 eg id get them tuned while you are out here or they will run like ****.im from cali born in la lived in riverside almost all my life when i moved back out here my teg ran weak and slugish i need a retune nice rides though not feelin the stang lol

As for the subject of street races and money runs. The Albuquerque Honda Squad doesn't participate or condone any of that. What you do on your time is your own business, just don't act like a fool during the meets. Yesterday a non-Honda showed up to our meet and pulled some stupid **** at a park with kids around. NOT COOL!!! We need to start focusing on losing the stigma surrounding import cars clubs and start trying to develop some sort of respect in our community.

Oh gotcha.... I know how it is. I start building old cars at young age and transition back forth from domestics to imports. I have met jerks that drive both imports and domestics so I cant say one is more than the other. There is alway MR2's up here for sale I just nver got into them so I dont really look too much for them. Try Craigslist in Los Angeles.

I asked if it goes on and I didn't plan on doing it at a meet. The guy doing it probably had some single cam D15 and wanted to show off, those people ruin the racing with their idiotic antics. I didn't build the cars to show them off, they are being built to race. I guess Ill just ask around to see if it goes on figures with all the open room out there and lack there of cops there would be some good action.

I know there are races and money runs. It's like a mix of imports and domestics. I don't really know anyone involved anymore so I'm kinda outta that loop, but I know they're out there. Last time I went though, the cops were all over it. We had to all run and change locations numerous times, so play at your own risk. That stuff is too rich for my blood. I'm with Dudeitsjdm on the whole thing. If someone pulls up on me and no one is really around, I'll run them from the light, but even going to the organized races is really risky. I don't want my car impounded.

I just got a new Canon TS1 DSLR so you can bet I will be bringing that for the next meet I attend. Nothing says "look at me" like a 15 Megapixel shot of some nice vehicles.
