Lowering spring on stock shocks..

Default Lowering spring on stock shocks..

Just wanted to ask how fast would it take for the stock shocks to blow if i add lowering springs with it..i believe its about a 2.25" Front and 1.75" rear drop or so.. I'll be using the neuspeed race springs...i don't know the spring rates and what not...also its ganna be done on a 99 civic hatchback

I was planning on lowering my car soon too.
I know coilover sleeves will blow stock shocks kind of fast if you lower them too much.
Not so sure about springs.
