yet another idle question
i posted about my idle fluctuating on my stock 90 ef and was told to clean the iacv and my throttle body and i did so but it didnt change the idle. I also performed the same on my 90 with a zc in it to try to pass an inspection and now my 90 zc is having the same idleing problems as the stock ef and still wont pass inspection. any information at all?
Try the FITV trick as well?.. if a no go.. heres another thing..
when it starts to "fluctuate".
The hose that goes from the Intake Mani to the PCV valve..
Take a pair of pliers and pinch it a little bit if it stops being dumb
you need a new PCV valve.

The first thing I check when I have a fluctuating idle is my coolant level.
Next check your vacuum lines. And then I would say IACV and FITV.
Have you tried adjusting the idle screw? The idle might be too high or too low.
Does the car bog/hesitate when you accelerate quickly? Could also be your tps.
Good luck. I know how much of a pain idle problems can be.
