aem tru boost install questions
i am installing an aem truboost on a sleeved lsvtec and on aem's instructions it says to set it up for push/pull where it goes from the top of the wastegate to the truboost solenoid then from the solenoid to a T that goes to turbo vacuum and the bottom of the wastegate. i am doing this with the pnumatic push fit connectors and i dont have an extra fitting to put on my turbo. can i run one from top of wastegate to the solenoid then to the vacuum block and the bottom of the wastegate to the vacuum block or is it better to just block off the top of the wastegate and run just a line off the bottom of the wastegate to the boost solenoid and then to the vacuum block i have been told that the push/pull system doesnt work well on hondas. anyone have any experience with this? also i have the vacuum line off the gauge to a fitting on the vacuum block but it is not reading any boost when i can hear and feel it. do you have to go through the settings on the gauge before it will read right or do i have a leak in the line? trying to get all this figured out to get tuned tomorrow.
top port -> 2
vacuum block -> 1
side port -> vacuum block
you must use the top port so dont block it off. as far as the gauge goes, it should read automatically. if not then you need to check for a leak or check the boost sensor wiring
here are supplies needed:
- zip ties
- gum
- cigarattes (for you)
-a lot of hopes and dreams lol
no just start twisting things together and call it a day lmao and pray it all works

I wish I was able to look at my car because I have the AEM truboost and cant remember routing. But the truboost will need to be adjusted when your tuner does the tuning. As far as the leaking goes, it should read automatically. The only thing that needs to be adjusted is how it operates at controlling boost. I would double check all connections. Try hooking the boost gauge up to its own dedicated vac line with no Ts.
