Default anyone using hondata s300 on an f23?

I have a non vtec f23 and am about to order the hondata s300 with po6 ecu and the fixens. however I have one concern. it says on the hondata website that they do not support the hondata on the 1990-2002 accord and if it is installed they say the engine temp gauge will not work.

will this affect the driveabilty or tuneabilty of my car? I am a noobie and am flying someone here in spring to tune my set up I want to have everything ready.

also anyone kow of reliable 2 wire iac conversions for the f23? I am thinking about getting a blacktraxx plate but havent seen any reviews.
