i have a obd2 gsr dizzy that took a crap on me and i'm lookin to replace it with an used one. what i want to know is if a complete b16 dizzy will bolt up to a gsr head because i know the cap is different between the 2.

i also would like to know what dizzy internals(coil/ignitor) are interchangable with a obd2 gsr dizzy like obd1/obd2-ls/b16/gsr?

All OBD1 and OBD2 D and B-series coils and igniters are interchangeable. For that matter all OBD1 and OBD2 CYP/CKP/TDC sensors are interchangleable as well, plugs are different between OBD1 and OBD2 but thats it.

 

yes any complete obd2 vtec dizzy will work. as you have already discovered the caps are different depending if you have td-81, 84, 86, 87. not sure about the internals, they show different part #'s but may be interchangeable.
