Ef problem while in neutral
ill be at idle in neutral at a stop and my ef9 will be idling ok then randomly itll drop down rpm like it wants to die but it stays alive its weird any help...?
also is the battery old? and hows ur altenator? are they good? could be electrical, like incorrect amount of voltage, and like stated the IAVC, its located on the intake manifold
yeah i have cleaned the eacv its different but does the same thing anyways yeah its been cleaned but whats the best way to clean it with and also i do need to get a new battery i dont think the alternator is bad but i am gonna rebuild it later on some also told me could be the timing belt on too tight
i use brake cleaner... i might be having the same issue as you. i check my timing and it was dead on, cleaned iacv, checked for leaks and still have a roaming idle. tomorrow i will try another iacv. i'll let u know the result.

mine is doing the same thing after i swapped out my throttle body and tps...might be because i didn't calibrate the tps and properly adjust the throttle cable and idle screw after installation...FML
didn't get to try another iacv, but i cleaned and tightened the fitv and i still have the same problem...
however, when i move the wiring harness near the distributor my idle goes up. it's kind of weird. not sure if it has anything to with it.
