Is it like droping from 1k rpm to like 100 and bouncing up and down like that?

i use brake cleaner... i might be having the same issue as you. i check my timing and it was dead on, cleaned iacv, checked for leaks and still have a roaming idle. tomorrow i will try another iacv. i'll let u know the result.

mine is doing the same thing after i swapped out my throttle body and tps...might be because i didn't calibrate the tps and properly adjust the throttle cable and idle screw after installation...FML

Sounds to me like a voltage issue. you could also check the fast idle valve.

pay 3 bucks at autozone and buy a new pcv valve. helps idles alot because the pcv valves are usually the stock ones 20 years old lol.

didn't get to try another iacv, but i cleaned and tightened the fitv and i still have the same problem...

however, when i move the wiring harness near the distributor my idle goes up. it's kind of weird. not sure if it has anything to with it.

Does it also do it if you turn your lights on? Or other electrical devices? It could be a bad ground perhaps?

Then i'd be checking all of your ground wires and making sure they're attached correctly.
