Default AVC-R/Tial Highpressure Vacuum Lines question!

I just got a tial highpressue wastegate..I hooked it up just like my deltagate used to be and I don't start to boost till 5000-5500 rpm's..WTF? Car is a B18C w/ Cometic headgasket lowing compression to 9:1..only boosting 5-6psi...don't wanna mess anything up because vacuums might be wrong...but I had a built b16 in there(9:1 as well) and I was boostin by 4000rpms...so i'd figure the b18c would spool the turbo even faster..

right now vacuum lines come from the solenoid of the avcr to the tial as follows:
(no) plugs into side of tial and is 'T'd to the comressor of the turbo..just like the instructions say

(com) plugs striaght into the the top of the wastegate..

(no) has nothing in it

some other things..it sounds as if the wastgate is always open anytime I step on the gas(boost or not) ..I sound like I running open exhaust ..I thought the tial wasn't supposed to open til it got to the desired boost level..then opens..

I tried searching but I guess I didn't use the "right" key words to find anything useful in my search..

-4 line is used to connect the solenoid to the top of the HKS wastegate and to the vacuum/boost signal on the IC piping while a -6 line connects the bottom W/G port on the IC piping.

If I'm reading it correctly, I think that is the way I already have it? or do you not have anything running to the turbo..I think your I/C piping is the equivelant to my "t"ing off the turbo though..

Anyone else out there that can help?

There are 2 tapped sources on the IC piping less than 12" from the compressor housing! -4 for the AVC-R solenoid and a -6 for the bottom w/g port!

when does your car start to boost? Is the wastegate open always, even under normal driving..

I've recently changed back to open loop from closed loop..I don't recall my deltagate always being open..

My w/g doesn't open until I hit the desired level of .7bar.

well thanks alot ...

I just can't see why it would make that much of a difference going from my deltagate to the tial..

and everyone always says the tial is better than the deltagate..however I never had any probs like this w/ the deltagate...

I don't really want to plumb my IC piping seeing as how I've never had to run it like that before..

how do the rest of the people on this board have theirs setup..
