I took the engine out and it is in good shape, a little corrosion around some areas. We took all the bolts out but cant seem to seperate the tranny from the motor. I was wondering if anybody had some advice. I want to use the tranny on my motor, I need some help.
if all of fthe bolts are indeed out, you need to slip a prybar/crowbar/BFscrewdriver inbetweena spot near the front of the block where you can get in there to wiggle them apart using the prybar/etc.
be gentle and have patience (to a point) because there are guide pins/dowel pins that hold th etranny in perfect alignment and force the tranny to be taken off without twisting it, or like it wont work if you try to remove one side first..
