Icon2 help! where does this hose go??

I believe the normal end to this hose connects to the EVAP canister but I can not find the spot where the other end connects to. by the way, b16a.

nope. all of the hoses are connected to the oil catch can. the only spot for it as far as i can tell is the lower connector on the top of the charcol canister (says purge) for the evap system. and that is for the end without the clip. where does the other end with the clip go? would running the car without this cause any problems?

I've seen something like that on one of my last swaps. If I could recall, the hose with the clip attach to another hose that's "L" shape, and it vents out to the atmosphere. The open end attaches to the purge canister.

thanks a lot man. you saved my day. i haven't started my car yet without it. i didn't even want to risk wrecking anything. my Honda is my passion and to see her break would be a sad day. i know that if it was just to that evap canister than i would be fine starting it considering its just for emissions but i just wanted to be sure. i was beginning to think nobody knew where that hose went.

Ya I will keep my progress updated on my profile. Like I said, its going to be slow going for a while because I'm a full time college student working a minimum wage job. Actually posting some updated pics now, or trying to. I'm on 56k right now unfortunately.
