Well, in an attempt to test my voltage gauge, I stick the wires into the cigarette lighter. A few sparks later, my radio shuts down and will not turn back on and the cig lighter now doesn't work.

Next, I went to install a grounding kit on my car and had to unplug the black wire from the batt terminal, a few alarm system chirps later the alarm will NOT arm with the key fob, I have to manually lock the doors.

Next, and this has happened before but I thought the situation remedied itself, I will be going around 40mph and coming to a red light/stop, I hit the brakes and although not roughly coming to a stop, the RPM's completely drop and the engine begins to stall, like it is trying to start itself. Sometimes the car completely stalls out, sometimes it goes back to normal as soon as I completely stop.

I haven't driven the car today because of these problems, what do I do to fix this crap?!?!?!

umm, you might have fried the cig lighter
the alarm may need to are you downshifting when this happens, or do you just throw it in neutral?

Cig lighter and radio are part of the Backup Radio fuse in the inner fuse box (where I told you to wire the thing) which is next to your left foot when in the driver's seat.

Assuming it's a Viper alarm or similar you'll need to reprogram the remote to the brain.

Today, as I left my car sitting in our driveway, I took out the backup radio fuse, came back tonight and now the alarm magically works.

The radio, however, still does not work!!!

Assuming that this is an OBD-2 car, that sounds exactly like what happens when the ECU is reset without running the idle-learn procedure afterwards.

After the coolant is warmed to operating temperature (i.e. the radiator fan has cycled at least once), allow the car to sit and idle for about 5 minutes without any electrical accessories running. In most cases, this will take care of the low idle/stalling issue when coming to a stop.

Yep, so I did that this morning and it seems to have done the trick.

My radio still isn't working!!!! Help!!!!

I took the radio out (what a pain) and didn't see any fuses on the back, so I am hoping that it isn't completely broken.

What kind of alarm do you have? What kind of radio do you have. Also take out the fuses one by one and check them all.

There is a second radio fuse under the hood if I recall.

its the backup fuse. cant remember the number off the top of my head (maybe #17) anyways if you look at the fuse box from the front of your car it is in the top right corner. either 10 or 15 amp. (the same one you pull to reset your ecu.) at least thats where it is on my 94 ex.
