Default Autolites VS. NGK

We all know honda recommends NGK plugs. So why is it some guys out there like the autolite 3924's so much? If anyone has any info on this, please share. In about 3 weeks we will be going to the dyno and my buddy that is now NA is going to bring NGK's as well as autolites and see the difference on the dyno, and ill probably do the same since im forced induction and see the difference. I swear up and down NGK is the way to go, he swears up and down Autolite since they are cheaper and turbo's fould out plugs quite often.

I prefer Autolites with some modifications. For Turbo 3923 or 3922 may be needed.

There will be many flames but I like Champion and Autolite better than NGK.

If you want to do some back to back dynoing, I'll send you some Rocket modifed Autolites and you can test them for youself.

Autolite has always made good plugs. I'm running NGK now but will probably switch back to Autolite next time. I don't care much for Champion though.

My three favorite plugs are, in no particular order

NGK
NGK
and
NGK

If NGK is not available, then I recommend getting NGK. The only plug that's proven to be consistant above any other, no matter the car.

I've used the Autolite 3922 in previous turbo/nitrous cars. They aren't some gimicky company that tries to sell plugs through hype. They work great.

Rocket,

We are gonna be dyno several cars on Sept 18. We can do that with the autolights if you want to send me a set. What do you think?

You've probably been talking to people that don't know Or maybe they were not using the resistor type plugs. I've been using them for 12 years!
