Do you stick a silcone hose into the hole in the throttlebody. The hole where the map used to sit?

 

ideally you want something to put the vacuum hose onto.. like a nipple of some sort. I had a metal plate that i could bolt onto the throttle body which i was also able to screw a brass nipple into that connected to the vacuum hose.
