Code 9 (CYP) JDM B18C '98 Civic DX
yet another code 9 issue. i did search, didn't see anything too helpful.
fresh B18C (JDM "GSR") from hmotorsonline. 1998 Civic coupe DX. 1997 Civic EX harness.
throwing code 9 for CYP... before we go replacing distributors and such, is there a wiring discrepancy with this? using the OEM JDM OBD2 ECU that came with the swap, no OBD conversions. There is not a crank angle sensor near the oil pump.
where should we check first?
thanks!

Did you guys do the whole trick or just to bypass CFK? Cause they have a fix for code 9. I have done this and it works fine in my 97DX with a LSV.

Is it me or most of us with this "issue" have gsr into civic dx?
-update- apparently the diagram from phearable.net that many are using to de-pin and re-pin is wrong and im waiting to hear back on how to fix this.
