moates burn2 problems ! CROME 1.5.3
i go to settings, have it on com port 4 , baud rate 920000, and i test connection. "successfully connected to ecu"
but when i go to burn the bin. it says no connection detected. :/
then, i close crome, i re-open it, and reopen my bin file.
i hit write , and it says "the operation failed after 3 attempt(s) with 250 milliseconds between each attempt.

are all the wires in the ribbon dealy in good shape?
sometimes putn the cover on the ecu can cut that ribbon.
did you try another laptop? it could be the driver
i had lots of problems with the driver not working. and i had to upload new ones via internet..
im getting hondata s300 soon. i know its more $ of course
with crome i cant get a redline to work.
vtec isnt consistent.
iacv activity flucuates and isnt consistent
and several laptops have to fight to connect to the ecu
lots of people like crome but i think it still has so many problems its not worth even downloading for free.

its a compatible chip . i just dont wanna keep driving with the ostrich 2 in my car. :/and yes, this is the 3rd laptop ive tried. still nothing.
It's 921600, not 920000. You'll have to manually enter it, since the option apparently isn't available in the baud rate list. There's your first step to try.
Trending Topics
The software sets the baud rate. It ignores the value that's shown in device manager.
The COM port and latency settings should be checked in device manager, though.
