i need help.. my car keeps shutting off like it runs outta gas..
i pull over and recrank it.. itll run.. but itll keep doin it..
itll run fine for a whileif he engine is cold..
idk if the fuel pump is goin out.. i hear the pump run.. no cells. noother problems.. what culd it be?

 

i also jus installed a new coil.. faulty coil maybe? i replaced it cuz i get poorlow end power.. ran fine with another dizzy i had.. but i no longer have it

 

could be the fuel pump...get a new one...there fairly cheap and easy to install.

it started doing it after you changed the distributors?

 

Have the igniter unit tested at an auto parts store.

 

yea i got a cheap coil off ebay..
and like 2 days later it started doin this..
can a fuel pump occasianally work?
ima try using the old coil in the morning and see if this helps..

 

yeaill have it tested.. im sure this must be the problem..
cuz my low end power sucks really bad.. itll die downon the smallest of hills..
and the timing is spot on..
i also have to run my dizzy fully advanced..
its not off a tooth..
i had this problem b4 the rebuild
