there is nothing wrong with single stage.. all the newbs believe singlestage = shitty paintjob... but single stage can be just as durable and nice as anything else...

2 stage just means theres a layer of paint then clearcoat

three stage is usual paint then pearl then clear....

for the most part these paint jobs all vary in price... so choose your destiny

single stage is a base/clear mixture sprayed all at once, you can get this pretty much in any factory color

2 stage paint is basecoat/clear coat sprayed seperately so that your clear coat is just clear, and entirely free of any base, this makes the compound and polish process easier and generally gives a much better finish

3 stage paint is specialty paint, usually associated with expensive *** pearl paints from house of kolor or other very expensive paints

no flamenco black pearl can be had in both a single stage and 2 stage paint, the pearl coat is mixed with the basecoat and then clear is sprayed on top typically with the 2 stage, in single stage they are all mixed together, but the issue with the single stage is you really shouldnt compound and polish this because you run the risk of flipping the metallic.

also, flamenco black pearl is black basecoat with silver pearl mixed in, nighthawk black pearl is black basecoat with blue pearl mixed in

So for someone beginning is it easier to use single stage? Do you run just as much risk getting orange peel?
