ok im doing a auto to manual conversion i have a gsr in my eg and it has a obd2 engine harness cuz the injectors and dizzy is obd2. cuz i use this in my auto ek coupe hx?

your gonna need a 99 si harness becasue the ek's have a one piece harness

 

so a 99 si harness will work on my gsr swap into my 97 civic hx?

ive been told to use a 96-98 civic ex 5 speed harness with obd2a inject,dizzy, alter with a obd2a to obd1 conversion harness with a chip p28. is this true so i can start on my project.

 

That is correct. Be forewarned, automatic HXs are weird, they use an oddball CVT transmission and require some cutting and welding IIRC when swapping to a 5 speed due to a weird mount situation not present on all other '96 - '00 civics.
