hey guys im wanting to start a new project im having a hard time figuring out wat kind of car i wana start. my wife wants to start a delsol build for herself and idk if i wana get one so we can both have sols or what i have built a few EFs and i have a 98 dx stock. so wat do u guys think? any sugjestions would help!! im planning on redoing everything wire tuck full motor build and body and paint thanx guys

 

do some research on everything, like what is your budget? how much time do you wanna spend on it? are you gunna sell it? dd? keep for a long time? race it? just look up your preferences and go from there, I'd do a del sol tho, or a crx x)

 

i agree do a sol or a crx. just as long as its not an eg hatch

 

The newer the chassis the better IMO. Mechanically speaking, they are all very similar. Just choose that looks good to you and has the options that you want.

I'm a big fan of the 92-95 chassis, but they are largely aged by this point. Up here anyway.

hah thanx guys im thinkin about the delsol too my wife wants to do one for herself she came up with the idea of painting it black with pink flakes and hot pink rims so i was thinkin of doin flat black and blue rims or sommthing in those lines but im not to concerned about the otions cus like i said im doing everything to it so idk thanx alot those guys its nice to c that its not all totla ***** bags here

 

I would go with a del sol, I love those cars, I might pick one up eventually

I gotta go crx>del sol, i just like the style more. it's like sporty, where as everytime i see a del sol, I'm waiting for some little chinese girl from f&f to step out of the drivers seat..

and why's that mean i wanna keep the eg? it just worries me cuz of it's age. i dont wanna dump a shitload of money in it just to find out the chasis is rotting in half
