Hello People, I just purchased a new distributor for my B16A engine its the richporter TD44XP distributor but i want to install it myself and i was wondering has anyone else bought this type and if so how did you install it and any problems that could arise.

If you installed a new distributor and its a different make any hints and problems that arose could be a big help when it comes to installing mine so don't hesitate to reply.

Is it different than a stock one? If not, then just draw a line from the dizzy to the head so you can align the new one properly, and bolt the new one on. If so, then keep us updated so we know for the future.

 

I don't think its standard I think its made by the same manufacturer as the standard one but the one i bought is a high performance distributor so as far as i know it should be direct replacement. I'll let you know how i get on.
