Default Ef Wiring questions

Hey Honda-tech, I have a few questions about the route i want to take on my EF hatch.

If i go All Motor i will most likely build a GS-R/b16 lsd with bolt ons, and a nice tune nothing really serious,

Now i was reading up on other forums that if i go VTEC i need a Vtec Controller for the Vtec to work properly is this true?

I bought my hatch with the wiring all ready messed up and tampered with and basically "half assed" If i buy virgin harness what do i have to do to make it OBD1 compatable / ready?

any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

not true about the vtec. and as far as wiring goes, we need to know what model your hatch is. i.e. si, dx, std

Have (Monotech, on here) make one for you, his price is nothing compared to the Rywire skyhigh prices.

save your money and just buy a cheap dx harness from the junk yard and convert to mpfi yourself...their are plenty of dpfi to mpfi write-ups in the FAQ section for your use...!!!

go to the junk yard and get a wire harness from a dx model similar to your vehicle...if its a si model leave it alone because its not a plug and play on a dx...when your ready to convert from dpfi to mpfi just follow the link below...!!!
