I'm pretty sure you can get up there. And I think the cluster you're referring to is the UK cluster. Would I do it, yeah, but not on the street.

The stock engine and transmission isn't capable, no. But that doesn't mean a K series or H/F series isn't.

NO TECH!

B.S. they are not capable. You just have to be able to REV it higher...

You ever come to think that maybe they wanted to just raise the tach number and instead of using a d series redline - 6800 they would increase both tach and mph for the b series engines in those cars?

I am assuming that you had to get the speed sensor that went with the cluster for it work properly, no? I like it. Did you have to purchase anything else to make it work properly?

i mainly got the cluster because my old speedometer was slightly off, about 5 miles, and i went with this as a replacement. and now im right on the dot. when using the UKDM cluster no additional parts were needed. When doing this you only need to remove the gauges from UKDM cluster and swap them onto your old cluster (as long as you already have a tach on your cluster) and your done. you do not need to change your VSS.

you only need to change the speed sensor on the JDM cluster
