Release bearing (TOB) not releasing from fingers (Searched and searched)
I offered up some help to a friend of mine with a 97 honda civic ex, had an issue with a grinding noise when the clutch is let out.
After searching it seems like its the input bearing, so I yank the tranny, swap in a new clutch, new bearings, and resurface the flywheel. When I put it back together it makes the same damn noise
upon inspection of the old clutch, it appears that the release bearing is dragging on the fingers when the pedal is let out fully.
I bled the slave cylinder multiple times and adjusted the clutch pedal multiple times. That didnt work so I replaced the slave cylinder, and re-bled the line again. It is still dragging

only thing I can think of is that the fork the release bearing sits in is not sitting on the pivot point right, or the master cylinder is bad...
anyone ever deal with something like this?
Thanks...

pull the fork lever away by hand. if the noise stops, put a return spring on it, to keep it from dragging, that's what I did.
