Default BW S362 ett vs Precision 6262sp.... setup inside!

Finally its time to purchase my Turbo! I've been confused for a while and been doing a lot of research on both of these turbos! Since they are both almost equivalent at both price range and power. I wanted to know from you guys what you think and what will suit my needs better!

Here's my setup(will post pics soon)
Block;
b18b 83mm Golden eagle sleeved
89mm stock crank
9.1 cp pistons
eagle rods

Head;
stock port
skunk2 stg 1 cams
supertech valvetrain
edelbrock IM and sk2 70mm TB
1000 ID's

44mm WG
Hks BOV
2.5 charge piping
SLS turbo prototype manifold T3

I'am looking to pull anywhere from 500-600whp on 93 oct gas, car will be a daily driver!
Which one will suit my setup best for quicker spool and have a better powerband across on lower psi's? I know both of these turbos are fairly new, so any help is appreciated... Thanks in advanced

I have a car that was tune by fmfkid250 on a 6262 journal and it did 504whp at 20lbs on 93 octane at a conservative tune

I cant believe how much higher people are gettig out of pump gas, its crazy. i remember par for 93 octane was 400ish whp now peopel are really pushing it to the limits and make 500+. I just wouldnt chance it IMO not worth risking a very expensive engine over pump gas tuning to crazy hp numbers, im old skool i like the motto better safe than sorry LOL, but props to you guys doing it big on pump

I've seen 500 and some change on 91 & 93 pump gas also, but 600 is a no-no IMO.

I'd say, stick with the lower end of your power goal if you are gonna be dedicated to pump gas only. Besides, 600 whp is practically useless (in certain ways) on the street for a daily driver anyway (even 500 for that matter, lol!), unless you're gonna double-duty it as a drag car also.

Quoted for the TRUTH.

I think the hp # on pump is a stretch, but I'm sure it could also be done. Either turbo is capable, it's going to boil down to persnal preference. I personally would use the S362. I've seen great results posted from both units.

I guess your right, it comes down to personnal preference! ive read the 362 making up to 75whp over GT35Rs across in power! I wanted to know if the 6262 has similar characteristics and what are the lag differences betweeen the two.

The 6262 will generally spool a touch quicker with the smaller turbine, but they should both make similar power overall when comparing the same boost.

The spool is around 5700 rpm and is a GSR block bore to 81.5mm skunk2 stg1, edelbrock performer X manifold, .82 hotside and 10:1 comp. Dyno was done on a dynojet and for refrence AFR in the 11.3 to11.5 range.
