Default Honda Key Fobs

i want to buy the uncut ones from ebay. how much is programming and how much is cutting alone? i heard you can program it at home. just curious on how much prices are.

You heard wrong unless you are referring to the keyless remote portion of the key. The transponder/immoblizer portion will have to be programmed by a professional. Some really well equipped locksmiths can cut and program the key as well as the dealer. Prices vary. If you walked into my local dealership with a blank sidewinder key and your car it would cost you 135 dollars for that blank to start your car.

I got mine done for $95... of course I'm not in CA like you are so I don't know how competitive the dealers are in your area but you can always email all your surrounding dealers and get them to give you their "best price"... tell them you're shopping their competitors and see what they're willing to do for you. They may find it acceptable to do it for "cost" if it means repeat service business from you.
