I was considering getting window tints on my 07 accord sedan, i was wondering; What brand will hold up the longest/have the best warrenty? Should i call my local dealer for recomendations? And what should i be expecting to pay?

thanks for your help!

I am about to have my tint re-done. The dealership had the first tint installed before I bought the car. I was quoted a price of $150, but I removed the old tint myself (they charge extra for that of course). This is in Louisiana, so the prices may be different there. I did do some research, and the metalized tint is said to last much longer than the dye only tint film. I am getting "legal" tint (30% front windows, 50% rear windows, and 15% rear windshield). Do a google on it, and read up.

It all depends where u go and most places that do legal work give u a lifetime warranty on ur tints.150 seems like a good price.. dont know where ur from but every state is different...

IMO, the films are all the same.* The quality is in the work. Bubbles, pealing, etc, etc.

* Ok, yes, there are cheaper films, UV this and that, etc, etc. Most "real" shops only use the good stuff, so take your pick base on budget. The best film is worthless if the job is done bad.

Do a google search and find local installers. Ask them about quality and warranty. I tried to have mine done at the dealership when I bought it but they said they would not recommend anybody due to liability issues if I was ever in an accident so going straight to the tint installation companies would always be the best way to go based on what they say about their product and what they are willing to stand behind their labor of installation for.
