hi,
the middle seat belt on the backseat of my EP3 is stuck. i cant get it loose, its very tight so theres no room to put in then out. i installed an amp on the backseat so i thought that was the problem but i took it off already and the seatbelt still doesnt work. any1 know how i can fix this? is this a common problem with EP3s?

 

How did you wire the amp? If you ran the wires under the rear seats, something might be getting hung up.

Otherwise I know dealerships are required to cover seat belts for life (despite your warranty) so if you feel it's unsafe, just take it to Honda.

 

i wired the amp through the door sills and around the seat. nothing inside or under the seats. only thing that was put into the back of the seat were 4 screws to hold the amp and 4 more to hold a capacitor. but i took out the whole stereo system already. so there is nothing there. im not sure if it worked b4 installing my system, never needed it until my son was born and i wanted to put him in the middle for the a/c, thats when i found out it didnt work.

 

Gotcha. Like I said, take it to a Honda dealer. I'm pretty sure they're legally required to fix seatbelts for free.

 

thanx, ill post up pics of my EP3 soon. once i find my memory card with the pics of it. havent done much to it just painted rims and engine and sound system with in dash tv.

 

haha i have the same problem with my passenger side rear seat..this thing is stuck and wont come out no matter what i do
