Anyone kno how to fix the damn hatch. Mine rattles so much whenever I hit a bump. Ive heard putting eletrical tape on the hook in the back stops it. but that didnt work. anyone else have any other ideas?

 

Man.......DO a SEARCH for this....there everywhere....but here.........All you do is open the hatch....now on each side of the hatch....you will see a rubber stopped on each side......Twist it out a little bit.....And there u go......*HINT*may be harder to close hatch....but it works...

another way to fix it:

lift up hatch, on the hatch is the latch with two screws on each side.
unscrew the latch, take out spacer and put the latch back on.
rattle will go away but it will be harder to close and open w/ key but u get use to it quick and the less noise is alot better

 

So they just can look before they post and they will see the post saygn "Hatch Squeaking" So we dont have to see the same thread over and over

That's the easiest and fastest way...

 

i silenced mine by moving the hook thingy back a little and tightening up the bolts again, it took a few trial runs to get it in aposition where the rattles went away, but they did na dits been silent for 18 months now.

 

I adjusted/turned out those rubber stoppers a little and also wrapped the hatch latch/hook w/ some electrical tape.. other than that I just turn up the stereo

 

Turning up the stereo. This is the fastest and easiest. This is what I do because I am a lazyass.

I have the same irritating problems. Honda did not engineer their doors, windows, and hatch's to last very long without noises. I am going to try everything that you guys sugggested. However, I already played with those contact patches and it helped but there's still some noise.
