Just lowered my CG accord coupe
Hello I just joined this forum and, I have a question. I just lowered my 01' CG Accord using dropzone spring. When I finished I took it for a test drive and heard this annoing rattle sound. The sound appears to be coming from my strut towers. I went back home pulled the rear struts back off in hopes to find whatever was making the noise and, nothing!
Everything is good...Any Ideas????

A rattle sound is usually something loose.
Now, if its more of a clunking sound, and those springs happen to be progressive, you're probably just hearing the dead coils collapsing.

Example of a rubber wrap specifically made for this purpose (but you can simply use a cut rubber vac line if desired):

tunerNooB your the man. I got some vacume line and cut it into a coil and wraped around the coil.... Like magic the sound is gone. So if anybody uses progressive rate springs to drop your ride (best ride I have ever had in a lowered car.) make sure you get the insolators.
