Default bad catalyst convertor?

so i just got my cat replaced for an aftermarket high flow cat from magnaflow... i realized that i am burning oil...like a lot too..probably from a valve stem seal leak becuz i did a compression test and a leak down test and it all seems fine. It has only been like 2 weeks and im startin to smell a rotten egg smell? Does that mean my catalyst convertor went bad already?

My car is a 96 integra with a obd1 ls vtec motor...

What could be the problem?

horrible...like 20ishh a gallon.. but i just put the cat on? i was running an itr one before this, but since i just got the apexi ws2 i upgraded 2.5 piping and a highflow cat and thats when i started to smell the rotten egg. Is that what a bad cat smells like though?

i was bogging before but that was because i was low on oil...it doesnt seem to bog anymore or no significant rpm drop.

If you are doing rings I would do bearings while you are in there!!! May want to think about even honing the block!

yikes...anyone have a rebuild thread or a check off list that they used? i just picked up the stage 2 cams springs and retainers today for 400 ..!! probably gonna need rings, bearings, and all the bs gaskets?

If anyone has their build check off list, that would greatly be apperciated.

Could be the smell of something burning doesnt neccasairly mean your cat is bad however i never used an aftermarket cat but cars burning oil or other fluids do have a whiff to em yeah
