i have a 97 civic hatch and i recently installed a sk2 70mm exhaust. the muffler is ugly as fawk but the only reason i bought it is cause its one of the only true 2.5" id bolt on exhaust's.

so i decided i wanted to tuck the muffler out of sight and weld a turndown to it. well skunk2 put a gay *** 4" tip on there muffler so i would need a 4" turndown and the muffler would need to be cut off and pushed back to clear.

so now i am thinking i should cut off the muffler and sell it (its brand new new never ran) and get myself a vibrant muffler and get a turndown welded to that.

so i wanted to know if there are any 2.75" mufflers out there and if not is it ok to go with a 2.5"?

 

Is this for a N/A or turbo car? For N/A I'd use a 2.5" muffler, for a turbo, go with a 3".
