Default best all motor header?

Well im in the process of building a ls vtec right now with ctr pistons/ type r head etc etc. i currently have a dc 4-2-1 header for it but i would like to pick up a different header that would flow a lot better..

wat do u think the best bang for the buck is? i was kinda looking into getting a bisi one but i hear there pretty hard to come by..

"Best" would be something made specifically for your application, not off the shelf.

PS - You will make more power using JDM P30's or PR3's instead of PCT pistons.

The Bisi units can be considered custom, though I don't know how in-depth it goes. I have one for my SOHC and it's pretty nice, although I didn't get some of the modifications I wanted; but for the price you can't really complain(I'm going to assume the only changes are runner length which are optimized specifically for the setup you give them on the sheet).

If you are not going to get a custom header, just search for the threads on header comparison tests.

Exospeed has an awesome header as well. Its a little pricey at around a grandish.

My fault. I meant SixSigma. Sorry I got the shops confused. Their race header, side exit is $950.

I had a tri y on my b18c5. It worked out, put sat way to low to the ground. I now have a rmf narrow header and it sits nice and seems to flow well.

the "best" header is one that is designed not ony for your "specific" motor/setup but also for your "specific" needs/goals as well.

if you have a daily driver then a tri y will yeild the best midrange performance

if your looking for top end power for drag racing then a 4-1 header will make the best peak numbers
