Default jdm B16 question

ok so i have a b16 block here but the head is not the original head its off of a 2000 si. the block is jdm how can i tell if it is an xsi,sir1 etc........

why would it matter? ANyway I don't know that there is a way to tell the difference. How is the block stamped?

If it is stamped 1xxxxxxxxx its an SiR I
If it is stamped 5xxxxxxxxx its an SiR II

I think the SiR is 160hp and the second is 170hp

Only difference in the bottom ends would be 0.2:1 compression, and oil squirters.

This is probably the best answer...

The xSi which came came with the integra IS an SiR 1 block.

SiR I =160 hp , SiR II = 170 Hp

i had an SiR II motor in my gsr, with gsr cams and a small tune. beat stock gsr's all day
