whats up everybody! my wait is finally over...i just purchased a 2005 S2000 w/25k miles!!! Got it in south florida for $18500 out the door with a 36k/36month warranty on top of it. Now on to getting my hardtop/seat locks/intake!!!! Been out of the VTEC game since 2002, and i am back in it!!!

^ x2. There was a thread on here if you do a search, of a guy who is in the auto detailing business, who detailed a black S2k. By the time he was done with it, the thing was a efffin' mirror without a single swirl mark visible.

what are seat locks?

 

they stop your seats getting stolen

 

anyone get a hold of Kodokan? i need some locks...

what about a hardware store with a star nut or hex bolt? you think that could deter the thiefs a bit?

 

ok ok thats cool? how much are those? and where do you install them?

 

they were $61 last time they had a group buy...and they replace the stock bolts than keep your seats attached to the car. Front 2 bolts are slightly diff than the rear 2

 

nice pick up...

1 thing you will notice is how small the car is....after a while, you might regret it since you cant put anything in the car...

2 try to open the glove box while driving...I get sprain everytime i try to do this...

3 black cars are very hard to keep clean, unless you have a garage to put her in, and a car cover on top of that

swirl marks are a pain in the ***...

4. welcome back to vtec, you will find this thing fly's, but what do I know I've only had a comptech blower on mine on stock settings...

5. keep her safe.. although these cars arent that hot in theft as to the integra. your seats are valued a lot by local thieves and little boys that want to put them in their cars...

6. prevent your seats from getting stolen...get a hardtop!!!

thanks!!! and ye im working on a hardtop...but damn they are pricey...dealers in Miami askin $3200-$3500. Hopefully me and a friend can put it on ourselves with a DIY thread.
