Swapping integra Dash/VIN Question
ok so i recently swapped my integra from all tan to all black interior, but the only thing that concersn me is the vin on the black dash, it now doesnt mach the rest of the car, has anyone had any experiance with this or will i have any problems with this? I have heard many people say the vehicle will be impounded immidiately cause of this, but idk, please chime in if you know anything
yeah but if you run the vin the vin will show that the car has tan interior, and what do you do drill out the rivets and re rivet it back to the new dash?
yeah but its not like everyone that sees your car is gonna run da vin
well just drill it out and be careful not to mess up da vin
get a rivet gun (idk what the real name is) and re-rivet da vin

yeah put the vin that matches the car. nobody gives a sh*t if you have tan black or pink interior but if the vin isnt matching up with the rest of the car and papers you will be in some trouble.

X2. I've traded my tan interior for a friends black interior. You will be fine as long as you keep your vin tag.
use a 3/16th's drill bit, and then two rivets of your choice. i've swapped dash's and vins like 5 times for me and some friends and never had any problems
