Default Require re-tune after auto-manual swap?

Hopefully my question is simple. If you get an automatic setup dyno tuned and decide to do a manual swap afterward do you have to have the whole thing re-tuned or can the map simply be swapped over to the new ecu and/or ecu be converted?

I have a B16A with an automatic tranny and turbo kit that is running a v-afc and not in a good way. ECU is P30. Plan to do a manual conversion (prob LS for now due to funds) but would really like to get the car running right (chipped ecu with tune) until then. Just don't want to have to pay double for dyno time. Thanks.

Would the change in load due to different gear ratios make too large of a difference?

I believe a retune would be in order..
