i'm on my quest to do an auto to manual swap got some of the parts ,but i heard that i will need to swap my ecu for one of a manual lude.can it be possible to reprogram the ecu that i have on my lude so it would work the same as a manual ecu? also i got the transmission control module (tcm) .will i need this (tmc) after the swap?

 

there is some way to convert the ecu to manual, and ive heard you can even do it yourself its not hard. i think you pull 3 pins out or something or just move them and it is basically a manual. you might look into getting an ecu for your car from a junkyard that is a manual, and getting it reprogrammed for your ENGINE swap which is probably easier, depending on the amount of money you have to spend on it

 

ok so i just read that again and you dont have an engine swap so anyway just look in a junkyard for a standard one its probably the easiest route still
