hey guys please help me put, i have a 94 GSR and the idle is pissing me off. its at 1200 at all times. even on a warm engine. i tried every thing, cleaning iacv, replaced throttle body, changed map sensor.. an that's it it still idles high. can someone please help me out? i need to pass referee andi know for sure they will fail me because of a bad idle.

 

change ur idle control valve....if dosent work clean ur throtle cable holder make sure theres no dirt....it happend to me many times....hope this helps

 

^^ near the throttle body is a screw that takes a flat head in order to adjust. turn left to raise idle, turn right to reduce idle. hope this helps too. you can google search the location if you cannot find it.

 

im having the same issue except mine is at 1800 i tried spraying carb cleaner around the intake to check vacum leaks

 

i had a similar problem i fixed it by changing the intake manifold gasket. try it.

 

mine has a hondata gasket, new.

 

The problem is not that hard to solve. Usually it's just a bad iacv, bad gasket on the intake manifold, adjust the idle screw, or make sure your throttle cable is not too tight.
