Password:JDM quality control
I received my Password:JDM intake the other day. I've heard complaints of bolt holes not lining up on the "ColdAirChamber" so that's first thing I checked. All those lined up but the 2 holes on the ColdAirChamber do not line up with the threaded inserts on the RamAir scoop:
These things:

Don't line up:

I think I've blown my chances of getting an exchange too because I filed down a bit of the inside where the scoop meets the ColdAirChamber thinking I could get the scoop to fit fine... as it was even worse before. I guess I'm going to have to enlarge the holes a bit. Just a heads up for those thinking of the Password:JDM.

As much as everyone rants and raves about PW JDM, I'm not into their products. I don't think you have a difficult task ahead of you to make the intake work. Even some of the 100% JDM companies have slight errors with their molds, their parts are at times 95% fitment.
