Default Cruise Control

I know that there are alot of threads but most of them seem to end up nowhere. ive went through 4 pages of threads but still have a question. One of my vaccum lines from the CC to the Intake mani is disconnected . My question is, if one vaccum line is disconnected, will it not make the cruise control activate. my light comes on but it doesnt hold its speed. i check the brake and gas assembly but it looks normal to me. i have also tried finding the nipple to the intake mani but im using a CTR mani so i believe it doesnt have one. im sure i can tap into one but im not sure that is the only thing holding it back. thanks in advance

yea you can just tap into another vac. line, also if this is factory cruise there is a small check valve on the line make sure the arrow points away from the engine

from my understanding on how it works... the stock cruise setup uses a vacuum pod mounted in the drivers fender well (under the splash guard) that stores vacuum to be used in case of WOT conditions.
the check valve is there to prevent vacuum loss from this pod.

so vaccum is just there under WOT conditions, so basically that's not my problem then right, i am probably not checking all the wires correctly

the pod is there to supply vacuum only under WOT conditions. any other time the engine supplies enough vacuum to keep it working.
