Default left blinker acting up. (newbie)

Okay so all my blinkers work except my front left one. The bulb is on but when i turn on my left turning signal it doesn't blink.

I've read around and i'm kind of lost.

1) Bad signal switch? (can someone tell me how to change it?)
2) Socket is bad?
3) Grounding problems?

Help?

WAIT WAIT WAIT..
FIRST YOU YOU SHOULD CHECK THE BULB BECAUSE ITS A DOUBLE FILAMENT ONE.THE BLINKER FILAMENT MIGHT BE BAD ...

IN OTHER WORDS ITS A 2 IN 1 LIGHT BULB. THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY THE CITY LIGHT TURNS ON BUT THE BLINKER DOESNT..

OR IT COULD BE THE SOCKET .. INSPECT IT FOR BAD WIRES

BUT FIRST LOOK AT THE BULB...... ONE OF THE WIRES INSIDE IT MIGHT BE BROKEN
