Lowering EK - Torque Specs? How to pull the front?
Alright guys I am trying to lower my EK, and have the back done, but need to finish the front now. I am curious as to what the easiest way is to get the strut and spring out of the front. There is no way the LCA will drop enough to allow the strut to come out, so am I going to have to pull the upper control arm off in order to do so?
Also, I am curious as to the torque specs for the bolts on the rear that hold the strut to the LCA and the bolt that holds the LCA up behind the brake drum? I was told 50ft/lbs but can someone confirm this?
Thanks guys!

Did you take off that fork that connects the LCA to the strut? there's one bolt back there on the fork (upper), and one that connects the fork (lower) to the LCA that you need to take off. The fork will drop and you should be able remove the 2 upper bolts that hold the strut to the shock tower. I have an EK and swapped the front shocks many times without removing the front LCA's.

Ahh that would have been valuable information...I guess that is why I should have looked in the light rather than starting the fronts at night with just a flashlight. Thanks! Any idea on torque specs?
i belive its 36 for the pinch bolt, and the threw bolt (goes threw lca) and like 22 for the upper bolts.
make sure you jack the side your working on before you tighten the down all the way.
