little clutch/tranny help guys
yah i had the same problem on my old 92 CX Civic.. one spring was missing. It makes no sense though that sometimes it works/doesnt... well to a troll like me anyway.
day of my time and 90 dollars later all was well. I thought it was hydro clutch issues for the longest or I had some bent shift forks until I unbolted the transaxel and got a suprise!!! The spring, part of the center of the disc, and 3 tines on the pressure plate were *gone* ... eatin by the clutch monster I guess. nothing left of them except some metal shavings on the inside of the flywheel housing.
edit: i just remembered someone told me it might have been a bent input shaft that caused this... however i sold the CX about a week after doing the clutch anyway, so it was the next owners problem if it indeed was the input shaft.
