Ive searched high and low and even read through my haynes manual and havnet been able to diagnose this problem.

The lights in my climate control do not work except for little lights above the a/c, the rear defrost, and circulation. They used to light up, now they dont and coincidently my controls do not work at all.

I bought a working climate control for pretty cheap if mine is shot, but i dont think thats the issue.

Any help and suggestions are welcome thanks guys

Do you have the FSM? I assume you checked continuity in the wires, when part of my climate control when out in my EG, it was just really random,one day it was fine the next day it was shot, so I just bought a new one.

 

no manual... but the continuity was fine when i checked... i just couldnt believe that pow they just went out... i have replacements though so im gonna go that route tomorrow morning, but in the even that doesnt work i wanna have a back up plan

 

any other suggestions or ideas

 

Very true, this just started to happen to me as well. I have a 94 Civic Ex and I don't know what is causing it, but out of no where it fixed its self!! (weird) I been trying to find out what the problem was and could not anything wrong with my fuse box or wiring.

Anyone have this problem????

 

unfortunately mine have never started working again.... so i dunno what leaves me at, but overslept so i have to do it tomorrow now, ill update tomorrow

 

so i used a new climate control unit today that works... and nothing in my car, same problem i had before... nothing... i checked and no wires are loose or disconnected inside the dash behind the unit.

i really need to get this working asap

 

i have the rare sat nav version with climate control and im having the exact same problem! checked fuses and everything.. nothing, but mine is stuck on,

 

im wondering if its the heater/blower itself... or the resistor... i just didnt think that it would stop the little lights on the ac/circ/defrost to stop working... thats why im not sure if its a something else

 

someone has to have a solution to this
