It is more expensive than stage 2 but not by that much. It is not suitable for street? I found a good deal for sk2st3, and i wanted some advise on them.
my motor is b18c1 with Itr pistons overbore 81.25 with sk2 pro series intake mani. If i am doing a camshaft swap i am planning on upgrading the valve spring and retainer as well.

pro-series are the choice now because they offer a wider powerband

I wouldn't. I have rarely seen anyone make much more if any power with those cams over the S2S2's cams. I would stick with the older tuner stage 2's or go to the pro series cams. There's a reason why those old stage 3's "are such a good deal".

I made 224whp sae on s2s3's.

they have a weird dip in the powerband though right after vtec.

the stage 3's are like an almost stock low cam with a rediculous high cam.

kids used to run them so they had the mad crazy vtecs yo!

it makes for crappy power application IMHO. the pro1's are much closer low vs high cam and you can barely tell there is a crossover which is how it should be.

Cmon guys, S2S3 are an excellent cam but it definitely requires the right combination of parts and motor. A stock 1.6 or 1.8L is going have a crappy powerband with those cams.

im nt knocking the cam, you just need to have a setup that is on the high cam forever to make power imho.

of course ive never run them personally but ive driven a car that has...it was pretty crappy, then all of a sudden you had a ton of power for like 3k rpm's and then you had to shift.

2.0l, 12 to 1 comp, ported head, hytech rep header and full 2.5" ebay exhaust. rrev's to 8700. motor makes good bottom end power, but vtec is def where it really comes on. traction is more of an issue then having low end...
