Teg wont shift
-First off a friend brought his Da integra to my house were he and some friends changed the clutch. They never finished puttign the axles in and a few other things, so I had to finish doing what they didnt. When I started the car that was a metal to metal noise, and it wouldnt go into gear.
-Now had to take the trans out myself and see what they screwed up. Pulled the tranny and there was a metal bracket that held wiring, there is the sound. I puled the pressure plate and clutch. Retoqued the flywheel which is brand new. Installed the clutch and pressure plate. And the Tranny went back on. Got the car together. Started the car and the noise was gone (duh), but the car still wont go into gear.
-For a better overview.
=Start the car in neutral, and it wont go into any gear.
=Start the car in gear, disengage the clutch and the car moves, but wont go into any other gear.
-Also when I had got everything on except wheels. I started the car on stands, just to see if the clutch was grabing. I wen thru every gear while the car was on stands. This just isnt making any sense to me.

you gotta redo everything again...happened to me when i changed my uncles clutch out of an accord. it went into gear fine when the car was on jack's also with the motor on but once it hit the ground it wouldnt go into gear anymore...take it apart again and play with your clutch and reinstall everything...good luck
If everything was put together right, then you have a hydraulic system issue. Check your clutch pedal adjustment. Also check for leaks from the clutch master cylinder and the slave master cylinder. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
sounds like the throwout arm is not engaging , sounds like a cable issue..... when you installed the therowout bearing did you do everything correcly? put the spring back in right? if you put the spring in backwards this will happen.

I didnt check the throughout bearing, they replaced it when they did it. Im not sure if they did it right. Could that really be the reason? Dont want to have to tear it all apart again for it not to work...
Ah, my bad. I glazed over the part where you said it was a DA (I always think DC).
As others have suggested, I would check the cable again.
Also, have you verified the part numbers used are correct for this application? Were the "fingers" on the pressure plate completely vertical when you assembled everything?

BTW, though I "doubt" this is your problem. Maybe you have the 94+ clutch disc (larger spline) and your cable trans input shaft is simply spinning inside the larger hole....seen that once before.
